Wow! I cannot believe it has been two weeks since I last wrote anything on my blog. What can I catch you up on? Let’s see, the end of the summer was interesting. We went on a great family vacation to Ocean City, MD and then had to evacuate a day early due to the impending hurricane Irene. Then, we came back to our home, only to find it with a flooded basement within two days and power outages for days too, one lasting for almost 24 hours. Still, we are all safe and thank G-d, although it was a real nuisance and it frustrates my hubby to no end, it was not worse. My heart goes out to all the people who lost their loved ones during Hurricane Irene and “Tropical storm”. It was not fun to have no power, though I have to say, watching a movie with my hubby (albeit only 40 minutes or so until the power on his laptop died) along side two yummy smelling candles was not too bad…we all get so caught up in the technology, that we don’t spend enough time TALKING to one another anymore. I wonder if that is why the divorce rate is so high now or why we have so many communication problems b/c we just DON’T TALK ANYMORE! It is all texting, emailing, etc. SO sad, really! AND, truth be told, so much can also get misconstrued in a text or an email too, you know?!

Anyway, back to my topic: BRAT BAN…do you think that children under a certain age should or should not be banned from certain upscale, fancier restaurants? I am very curious what peoples answers are…I have my own opinion, but I am not so set, I always see both sides (I think I would not make a very convincing lawyer that is for sure)…Please share your comments either here on my blog or on my fan page at Facebook, StartingOutSmall or on twitter at: startingoutsmal (NO Second “L”).
