Nice to be back on the computer…

Hurricane “Irene” was downgraded to a tropical storm in the Northeast where I live, but it sure did do its damage…luckily, my family and friends are safe (as far as I know!), but we did have a flooded basement and no power for close to 24 hours. We still have no Verizon Phone service, but we have our internet and TV working, THANK G-D for the important things, LOL! I will try calling the phone company again tomorrow, but I got tired of waiting for 20+ minutes, so I hung up.

On Sunday, I went to the NYIGF (NY International Gift Fair) in NYC at the Javitz Center and I came across this company called “wee gallery” that has wonderful products. I spoke to the husband/wife team who started their company shortly after their first child was born. You can take a look at all of their products on their website (see URL above and click on it).

I chose to try out their “Art Cards for baby”. I think having visually stimulating photos of animals in BLACK and WHITE (babies cannot differentiate between the colors at such a young age) is a great idea for a baby gift.
