link StartingOutSmall's newest Product Review: "Pacimals"

What do you get when your baby who takes a pacifier drops it out of the crib, car seat or stroller? One VERY UNHAPPY BABY. Well, thanks to a super invention by a doctor who is also a first time mom, you don’t have to worry about that anymore!

All of “US” Moms out there are looking to SIMPLIFY our lives, not complicate them, this new clever devise is just what you need!

Introducing Pacimals, a unique tool to help babies who are not quite ready to position the pacifier in their mouth by themselves. It is an innovative new pacifier that combines a medical-grade silicone pacifier with a soft light stuffed toy using a patent-pending joint. There are several adorable plush animals that you can choose from, just browse their site, each one is cuter than the next. Go to www.Pacimals.com. It is a fabulous gift for a newborn baby, a frustrated parent who is looking to find an easy way for their baby to enjoy using his/her pacifier, keep one at the grandparents, aunts and uncles homes, etc. Plus, once the baby “outgrows” using the Pacimal, you can use the plush toy as a comfort and cuddly friend.

* My daughter was already 15 months when I received the Pacimal to review, so unfortunately, she was not at all interested in it, however newborn babies up until approximately 6-9 months (perhaps a little longer depending on each particular baby) would LOVE this product.

If you would like to be a winner of a PACIMAL, register on their site, enter your name and email address. Go to the following URL:

The Paci

The Paci™ is the replacement pacifier designed to accompany Pacimals®. Each Pacimal come with one natural-shaped clear pacifier designed especially for breast-feeding babies to help them develop their oral muscles appropriately*.

The Pacimal Story:

Monica Williams, a doctor and first time mom to her daughter, Mackenzie came up with this great invention. Her baby, Mackenzie loved her pacifier, but didn’t have the coordination to hold it on her own — “leading to frustration, and tears. The idea of Pacimals dawned when Monica realized Mackenzie needed something larger to hold that would help her keep her pacifier in her mouth. Monica used a few of Mackenzie’s toys to make the first adaptation, her homemade version of Pacimals worked like a charm, helping Mackenzie comfort herself during the day and more importantly, throughout the night”. Hence, PACIMALS was born. Come join in on the fun, check out a few of the benefits that Pacimals provide for babies.

Oh, I also have to tell you about my daughter this weekend. Today, this morning when she was playing in the playroom, she was playing with a toy and I was watching her from the dining area while eating my breakfast. All of a sudden, the toy bounced out of her hand and she looked all around for it, she couldn’t understand what had happened to it, she still did not see it, so after a few moments of me watching her (she was too cute) I said to her “Aviva, it is under the couch, go look under the couch!” I must have repeated it 2-3 times and she went and looked under the couch and had a big smile when she squeezed her little body underneath to get it, it was so funny. I also was impressed that kids at only 15 months have the ability to understand so much.

Secondly, I had asked her the other day, where is “Noah?” that is her brother, then I asked her where is her sister? etc. and whenever I ask her “where is Aviva?” she always covers her eyes like when you are playing peek a boo and it is so sweet. So, when I asked her “where is Abba?” (father in Hebrew) she knew he was not home (he was at work) so she covered her eyes! I thought that was SO clever….

Goodnight everyone!
