This past summer, I was reading an article in the 201 Magazine (Bergen County, NJ monthly magazine) and was very impressed by one girl’s ambition and desire to keep her father’s memory alive and raise money for an important cause.

A young girl, Phoebe, just 16, came up with an idea to sell bright, vibrant colored nail polish to raise money for cancer research. When she was only 11 years old, her father was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. He was always inventing one thing or another and always had a smile until the end. He had laughter and never gave up. To honor her father and “follow” in his path of inventor, she created a line of nail polishes that do not have the harmful chemicals that many have and created a great name COLOR ME CURED. I just felt since October which was last month just passed and it was Cancer Awareness month, I wanted to mention this great site and let those who are interested know about it and how the money you spend on this site will help fund cancer research and goes directly to Sloan Kettering in NYC. My daughter, who happens to have just turned 11 this past summer really liked her story too (as well as nail polish).

WOW! Baby products that are CHEMICAL free, DYE free and ALL NATURAL and they actually CLEAN????

That is what Arbonne baby products do for your baby. They are actually recommended for birth until age 10, so in my family it was good for all 3 of my kids! Although, mostly my baby used it. I was lucky to be asked if I was interested to try some samples of baby products by Arbonne. I had actually heard of this company before, but knew nothing about it, other than hearing its name before, so I was eager and excited to test out these baby products on my 16 month old daughter.

I received 3 items:

1) Arbonne Baby Care Hair and Body Wash

2) Arbonne Baby Care Body Lotion

3) Arbonne Baby Care Herbal Diaper Rash Cream

What had really appealed to me about these particular baby products (this goes for all their products; for men and women) are all natural, using only plant and vegetable ingredients, there are no chemicals or dyes and there is NO mineral oil (which is bad for skin).  So, I tried all of the baby products.

The baby hair and body wash was easy to use, convenient cap that flips open and easily stands too. It does not feel too thick, yet seems to clean and do the trick. I felt my baby’s body and hair seemed clean and did not take a long time to get all the soap out as you often feel with other shampoos and body soaps for babies.

Then, I tried the body lotion. I am not one in general to put lotion on my baby (probably because it takes more time) but I felt it was great! It did not feel greasy at all and had a pleasant light smell. It went on smoothly and my baby’s skin felt very soft afterwards.

Lastly, I have to say, the diaper cream seemed great. I used it as a preventative (not ONCE she had a rash) and it seemed to keep her rash free for quite a while. It only took a little bit of it too, which was nice. Also, this had an easy top and it is a convenient size, handy to just throw in your purse or diaper bag. It is not a big bulky one, yet a little bit larger than the 4 oz. size.

There is so much good stuff about this company that was originally founded in Switzerland in 1975. It became available in the U.S. as of 1980 and has been going strong over the last few decades.
