We can hardly believe a year has gone by since we started our online boutique of baby gifts and accessories. Overall, it has been a super positive experience. As a new business owner, busy mom of three and wife to a husband who works very long hours, I have a lot on my plate. I so enjoy the business, but when you are juggling so many different things, it is not so easy to devote all your time to work alone. We do try our very best though and so far have had only positive feedback!

We strive to have excellent customer service, that personal touch and the “feeling” that just like you, I too am a mom and understand how hard it is to balance.  That being said, we decided in honor of our anniversary, we will hold a monthly contest for several FREE GIVEAWAYS. It has been very busy over the last several weeks with all our Jewish holidays. As nice as they were, I am glad they are OVER! (at least until Chanukah in December, but that is a fun, enjoyable and relaxed type of holiday). It was way too much cooking, eating, etc. Now, back to a full work week and the kids having a full week of school too, yeay!

When I learned about Monica, a doctor who came up with this brilliant idea for a product for infants and small babies when she had her FIRST baby, I just HAD to try one out. My oldest daughter and my youngest baby (daughter) were both pacifier takers and had I known about this invention (PACIMALS) when they were babies, it would have been a true lifesaver. So, for all you moms and dads who have infants that take pacifiers but are too small to put it back in their mouth when it falls out, THIS IS THE PRODUCT FOR YOU!!!!

How tragic! I cannot even imagine the parents of this dear baby who died, the agony they are going through!!! But, can’t all these things be prevented if we all only followed the instructions on products?

Additionally, I personally DO NOT UNDERSTAND why they have not taken CRIB BUMPERS off the market yet? I used them for both my two older children, but over the last several years they have come out saying HOW DANGEROUS they are; kids can suffocate, so WHY do stores still sell TONS of these beautiful crib bumper sets? I know I had written about this on another blog a while back, but I felt it was important to bring up again after reading about this very sad article!

So many deaths or near deaths or injuries could be prevented if only we, as consumers were made more aware of the harms and that stores also PULL THEM OFF THE SHELVES, but, I have seen the shelves completely stocked with all kinds of crib/bumper sets for babies cribs…in Buy Buy Baby, BabiesRUS, etc.

Shame, Shame, Shame!
